Reality Check.

The hardest thing about being in a relationship, especially a new one, is you only really know YOUR side.  Oh you may think you have it all figured out, you may have even analyzed it to death, but unless you are telepathic, you’ve only got what you’re thinking/feeling/doing to work with. So all your arguments and the way you work things out in your head become extremely one-sided. Of course, you KNOW you’re fantastic, so it must be the other person with all the problems, right?

And there’s the rub…what makes you think you’re so perfect, huh missy?

Let’s just say I learned a big lesson tonight…nobody’s perfect.  And as much as I didn’t want to admit it, that also includes me.  Damn….what I wouldn’t give for a Do-over with this new knowledge.
